I’m Patrick, founder of Dwelling Studies. Previously, I worked on energy and water policy advocating for low income Victorians in the non-profit sector. I’m passionate about the urgent need to upgrade and improve our existing housing stock if we are serious about decarbonising and creating a sustainable future.
I’ve got degrees in Arts, Law and Building Design (Architectural) – a unique combo that helps me navigate what is an increasingly complex space of housing and energy efficiency including rebate schemes, building science and legal regulations.
I use the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) to rate your home’s performance and plan for improvements.
I’m based in Castlemaine and work in the surrounding Central Vic area including Bendigo, Chewton, Drummond, Hepburn, Glenlyon, Guildford, Kyneton, Lancefield, Lauriston, Macedon, Maldon, Malmsbury, Spring Hill, Taradale, Trentham, Tylden, Woodend and Yandoit.
